Disruption Communications WORKSHOP #DCWDubai

In May 2015, 15below held our first ever Disruption Communications Workshop, in Dubai.  

Its purpose was simple – to bring together airlines from around the region to build (or enhance) the framework for their own tailored Disruption Communications Plan, and provide all the information and tools needed for implementation.  

The background

With the scale of air disruption increasing – almost as fast as today’s connected traveller’s increasing expectations – it has never been more important for airlines to stay ahead of the game.  As passenger numbers continue to grow, airlines must find more effective ways to deal with operational challenges posed by both planned and unplanned (IROPS) disruption, minimising the impact on passenger experience, profitability and brand. 

Over the past year, we have experienced a growing demand from airlines looking for expert advice to improve the way they manage these disruptions.  Celebrating our 15th anniversary (2015), we have become the “go-to” consultants in the industry for Disruption Communications Management.  It therefore made sense for us to use this specialist insight and experience to create a very focused, consultative-style Disruption Communications Workshop, designed to give airlines the knowledge, tools and an actionable plan to manage disruption better.

Who attended?

Smaller class-sizes often lead to better results.  For this reason we kept our consultative-style workshop to a group of 25 delegates + on-hand specialists, to encourage debate and interaction within an informal setting.   Our Dubai Disruption Communications Workshop, focused on the Middle East, North Africa and Indian sub-continent and welcomed a total of 10 of most successful airlines from the region.
