Digital Marketing Manager

We are looking for a Development Team Lead to join our incredible team. Established in 2000, we have since grown to become one of the travel industry’s major suppliers of passenger messaging solutions. More than 50 airlines, rail and travel management companies use our communications platform - so while you may not have heard of 15below directly, you've more than likely received a boarding pass, eTicket or flight-change notification that was sent via our platform.

With your knowledge and expertise, you will be helping 15below to achieve its position as the world’s leading supplier of traveller communications.

The role

The role includes:

Analysing the end-to-end consumer experience across all digital channels.
Managing all of 15below’s digital channels. This includes SEO, paid channels, email marketing, social media, and the company website.
Making recommendations for the best digital channels/approach, including a testing plan.

  • SEO - Research and implement SEO recommendations including:
    • Competitor analysis
    • Technical, on-page and off-page SEO best practice
    • Performing ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation.
    • Working with copywriters to drive SEO in content design and creation.
    • Recommending changes to website structure, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO position.
  • CRO – continuously improve the customer journey and onsite conversion by:
    • Managing all conversion points in the digital marketing funnel.
    • Developing and owning an effective testing program to improve on-site conversion.
    • Analysing and interpreting results, drawing insights and clear recommendations for future tests.
  • Email – maintain and optimise our highest performing channel by:
    • Managing the email database.
    • Designing and implementing direct and automated email marketing campaigns.
    • Analysing campaign performance and making recommendations for future improvements.
  • Social media
    • Plan and control 15below’s social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter).
    • Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Adhere to 15below policies.

Skills we want

  • 5+ years working in digital marketing roles with a clear passion for marketing.
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEM
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate tests.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools.
  • A great communicator at all levels of a business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English


Skills to impress

  • Degree or other recognised qualification in Marketing (eg CIM, DMI, or IDM). 
  • Experience of the travel industry. 
  • Experience of a low-volume, high-value business model. 
  • Basic knowledge of HTML.
