Viva Aerobus has selected leading automated notifications provider 15below to facilitate the sending of hyper-personalised, multi-channel passenger communications to inform, advise and empower travellers throughout their journey.
Mexico’s ultra-low-cost airline, which carries an average of more than 10 million passengers a year across 118 routes, has become 15below’s latest customer and chosen to adopt its industry-leading Disruption, Queue Manager and Flight Status Notifications solutions that will allow it to offer best-in-class customer service while achieving significant operational enhancements.
Once the 15below suite of products is fully deployed, Viva Aerobus will be able to share real-time updates with passengers when their flight is delayed, cancelled or diverted. The airline will also be able to sort, filter and process thousands of PNRs in a fraction of the time as well as offering self-serve functionality to customers looking to re-book or accept a refund via their mobile device.
Nicholas Key, CEO at 15below, says: “I am delighted to welcome Viva Aerobus to our customer community, which now includes 55 of the world’s most successful and well-known airlines and travel brands.
“Viva Aerobus has transformed the aviation market in Mexico since its first flight in 2006 as it continuously pushes to achieve its objective of making air travel accessible to every single person in the country.
“Now, as one of the world’s fastest-growing airlines, Viva Aerobus has recognised it must automate its passenger communications to ensure that every customer receives relevant information at the optimum point of their trip; a task that just cannot be handled manually by a business of this size without significant risk and unnecessary costs.
“We look forward to working with Viva Aerobus and helping an airline with such admirable objectives enjoy even greater success over the coming years.”
The 15below platform is designed to allow airlines to quickly and easily send messages to passengers that are tailored to their precise circumstances, providing exceptional service and customer satisfaction – even when things go wrong.
Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO at Viva Aerobus, explains: “We are committed to delivering a continuous enhancement of our passengers’ travel experience in line with our core service pillars, which include taking a customer-centred approach to flying.
“Our new partnership with 15below allows us to accompany our customers throughout their journey with assertive communication. This is another step we are taking to reinforce the loyalty and preference of our passengers.
“So far this year, more than 8.7 million people have chosen to fly with Viva Aerobus, representing a 20% increase on 2018.”
